laun.trk is a vague representation of Launceston.
See http://www.southcom.com.au/~geniac/images/launmap.jpg for route

Start at my place with the shopping centre on your right.
Drive down Cimitere St and turn left on to Tamar St with Victoria Bridge on your right.
Turn right on to Brisbane St and have a hoon through the city centre.
Cross the modern Paterson Bridge and head down the West Tamar Highway.
Be careful when you skip left up the hill on to Forest Rd; there are some tricky hidden corners in the area. Forest Rd turns into Trevallyn Rd further South, back towards the city.
On your way over Kings Bridge, look to your left down to the Lady Stelfox paddle-steamer that takes tourists on a little trip down The Gorge and back.
After exiting the bridge, wave to the tourists visiting the Penny Royal Village on your right, then head down Paterson St until you turn right on to Wellington St, which heads South and finally climbs Windmill Hill.
Turn left on to Talbot St which turns into the lengthy High Street.
Near the base of the hill, sneak through some back-streets then take a dogleg shortcut through the motel carpark, take a little drive around the last stretch of road, past the tennis courts at the sports centre, before arriving back home.

We hope you've enjoyed your visit to Launceston and wish you all the best on your next trip back. Cute little cling-on Tassie devils and koalas can be picked up at any one of our many and varying tourist shops around town.
